When nine people were killed at a Charleston church, Len was also on the desk for continuous coverage. The coverage led the South Carolina Broadcasters Association to name him Anchor of the Year. Len also worked at WFTV in Orlando, FL for a reporting and anchoring job. His first day was after the Pulse nightclub shooting that killed 49 people. After nearly 4 years in Orlando, Len became the morning and noon anchor at KPIX 5 News.
