Previously, he spent a decade serving as a broadcast meteorologist for stations like WFMY in North Carolina. Furthermore, Kirksey earned a Master of Science degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from The University of Oklahoma. The duo are proud fur parents of Stormy (a black Labrador mix) and Summer (a beagle mix).
