Family
Deanna is the daughter of Sheriff John P. Durante and step-mother Maria L. Durante born in the United States. Her father loved the fire service, the ambulance service, and the law enforcement community but sadly died on February 10, 2010, in his sleep. Her stepmother Maria is a former Montgomery County Assistant District and continues John’s crucial work at Plymouth Community Ambulance Association.
Sheriff Durante was deeply honored to be inducted into the International Police Hall of Fame as well as several awards from his profession. Deanna has an older sister Christina Visco who is married to Bill Visco.

Before joining NBC10 in May 2005, she was a News anchor for WITI-TV (Fox) Milwaukee, WI from April 2002 to April 2005. While there, she was a weekend evening news anchor. The major stories she covered on a national level included Sawyer County Shootings, I-43 Crash, Milwaukee River Drownings, and Sheraton Church Service Murders. Durante won the Associated Press award for Best Newscast as well as the Milwaukee Press Club award for coverage of hard news stories.
