Nicole is excited to be back in her hometown after reporting at WCTI in Eastern North Carolina for five years. While at WCTI 12 she worked as a weekend anchor and a reporter out of the Greenville bureau.
Paul Martino is an American retired journalist and news anchor. Previously he worked for KDKA-TV as an anchor of weekend evening newscasts, as well as reportor during the week for KDKA-TV News until June 2021. Paul first joined the station in 1984 as a general assignment reporter and later became Bureau Chief in Westmoreland County.

David Highfield is an American journalist. Currently, he is working for KDKA-TV as a morning news anchor where he started as a writer in 1991. David anchors with Heather Abraham KDKA’s morning newscast “Your Day Pittsburgh”. The duo also hosts “Pittsburgh Today Live,” a popular daily lifestyle/talk show.
Meghan Schiller is an American Emmy-Award nominee journalist, anchor, and investigative reporter. Currently, she works at KDKA as an anchor and investigative reporter since joining the station in October 2017. Meghan reports for the 4,5 and 6 PM newscasts and anchors News at 7:30 PM. She is excited to be back in her hometown and reporting at the station she grew up watching.
Dave Scott is an American Jazz trombonist and retired weatherman. Previously, he was working as a meteorologist and feature reporter at KUSI-TV in San Diego, California until March 2022. Scott joined the station in 1992 and on August 3, 2020, he celebrated his 28 years at KUSI. He briefly spoke about the 28-year milestone and how he loves bringing the weather to the San Diego community.
Hunter Sowards is an American multimedia journalist and anchor. Currently, she serves as an anchor and reporter at KUSI-TV based in San Diego, California. Hunter joined KUSI in September 2019 from the Piney Woods of East Texas KTRE-TV. At KTRE, she served as the main 6 and 10 o’clock anchor which she joined in May of 2016.

His broadcasting career spanned eight cities and three decades. Rudy is a producer of award-winning programs with a focus on local sports coverage. Rudy, as the headmaster behind KUSI’s Prep Pigskin Report, has grown the once three-employee and intern-run show into a production of 65 “Pigs.”
Dan Plante is an American journalist, anchor, and reporter. Currently, he serves as an anchor and reporter at KUSI TV in San Diego since 1987. Before Kusi, Dan worked at CNN. He has a rich history in the news business as his grandfather was a pioneer of live radio and his mother served in Mutual Radio and hosted a morning show on a Milwaukee TV Station. Dan’s father is a 47-year veteran of CBS News, 33 as a White House correspondent.
Lauren Phinney is an American journalist and anchor. Currently, she serves as the Good Morning San Diego anchor at KUSI-TV in San Diego, California. Previously, she served as a news anchor at WWSB in Sarasota, Tampa, Florida, market. There, Lauren anchored the evening news. She reported on medical breakthroughs and the 2012 Presidential election as well as did extensive coverage on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
