Joe Dana is an American anchor and watchdog investigative reporter and anchor at 12 News. Currently, he is a Multi-Media watchdog reporter at 12 news. Notably, he has won various awards including two Emmy awards, 2013, 2015 and, reporting awards. As known for covering stories cutting across education funding to capital murder trials. Moreover, he investigated immigration in southern Arizona and polygamy in northern Arizona.
Prior to joining the 12 news team, he was working for the Conservative News Service in Washington D.C. In his free time, he is a volunteer mentor and an ambassador for the mentoring program known as New Pathways for Youth. Additionally, Joe is a hardworking advocate for PTSD treatment of first responders in Phoenix, Arizona.

As a teenager, Joe had already found interest in journalism, he started to cover news in the valley as a newspaper editor at Apollo High School in Glendale, as well as a youth reporter for The Arizona Republic. His first day at work was on September 11th, 2001. Joe’s first story report was on the local response of churchgoers who had gathered to pray. As a young journalist, it was a deeply emotional morning for them and for him as well.
