Formerly, Tyler was the co-anchor of Nightly Business Report for CNBC. Before joining CNBC in 1997, he was working for Money magazine as a senior editor, writer, and top editor.

Previously, he was married to Sally Russell who was an editor at Sky Magazine while he was working for Money.
