A year later, Alexis and Matthew tied the knot on 31st August 2019 in a wedding ceremony held in St. Louis, Missouri. She owns a dog named Albert. The duo are proud parents of a son, Nolan, born in June 2021. She and her husband are also expecting baby number two in 2023.

Alexis and her husband Matt Drobak exchanged their wedding vows on August 31, 2019. The wedding ceremony was held at the Grand Basin in Forest Park and the reception at Wild Carrot on Shaw Boulevard. After the wedding, the duo went to Bali for their honeymoon.

The podcast features interviews with brewers, chefs, and small business owners making St. Louis a great place.
While still in college, Alexis started serving as a Features Intern at The Hollywood Reporter in January 2010. Later, she served at the KMOV-TV as a broadcast Assistant for three months. After graduation, Alexis joined ALIVE Magazine as an Editorial and Video Intern in June 2011 for only three months. Additionally, in February 2012, she joined the ABC affiliate WATE-TV as a reporter.
