Dan Barreiro is an American journalist and sports radio talk-show host. Currently, he serves as a sports radio talk-show host at KFAN 100.3-FM in the twin cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Before KFAN, Barreiro was a sports columnist at the Star Tribune for 17 years and left in March 2004. Previously, he worked for the Dallas Morning News.

However, he had been in contract talks with Clear Channel regarding a long-term extension at KFAN. Barreiro had also acknowledged the situation by stating that they are letting the process play out. On November 28, his offer from KSTP was finally matched by Clear Channel and decided to stay with KFAN for the long term.
On April 6, 2008, the Sunday Sermons program ended and the following Saturday, April 12, Barreiro started a new two-hour Saturday morning show from 10 a.m. to noon on KTLK-FM 100.3. His new show is almost solely non-sports and similar to the past Sunday morning show. Additionally, Barreiro remained on KFAN weekday afternoons. However, in 2010, after a brief run on KLTK, he returned to Sunday Sermons and no longer on KLTK unless it is as a fill-in.
