AJ Fox is an American journalist and meteorologist. Currently, he serves as the Chief Meteorologist at KSEE 24 NEWS at 5, 6, and 11 pm. AJ is the valley’s most accurate according to Weather, a weather accuracy tracking service. He has worked as Chief Meteorologist since he got a promotion in March 2009. AJ began at KSEE part-time in August 1995. Since August 1998, He had been the meteorologist for KSEE Sunrise and KSEE 24 NEWS at NOON.
AJ has received an Emmy Award twice. Once for an on-line educational series called “Weather Interactive” and once for “Best Weather Anchor”. AJ is the first meteorologist in Fresno to achieve the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, the highest certification from the American Meteorological Society. He has worked on the American Meteorological Society’s Broadcast Board which certifies other radio and TV meteorologists nationwide.

Prior to television, AJ had a career in radio in the Central Valley. He was heard on KFIG 101.1FM, Power 102, or Oldies 92.9 FM. He began broadcasting in Fresno professionally in January 1989, when he was still a teenager. Additionally, since 2002 AJ has also been an adjunct professor at Fresno City College. He teaches a climate and weather course every semester. In 2011, AJ also commenced teaching land formation courses and weather at Reedley College and Madera Center online. He got hired as a part-time instructor of geography at Fresno State.
