Steve Burton is an American journalist and sports anchor. He serves as a sports anchor and reporter at WBZ-TV in Boston. Steve joined WBZ-TV in August 1994. Prior to that, he served as a sports anchor and reporter at New England Sports Network (NESN) since 1988. While at NESN, Steve hosted the pre and post-game shows for the Boston Red Sox.
During his free time, Steve spends much of his time serving at the Ron Burton Training Village. It is a year-long training program that enriches the lives of inner-city youth by focusing on education, physical wellness, leadership, and spiritual growth. He also works as a board member on several children’s charities such as the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
